Ryan Newman

Ryan Newman is an Investment Analyst for the corporate team at FourStar. He contributes to creating and updating client financial plans and evaluates investments across alternatives, liquid alternatives, and traditional asset classes. Ryan leads the FourStar Alternatives Committee as a Staff Advisor and provides advice and support to the Diversified Alternative Fund.

Ryan started his career in commercial credit and brought ten more years of experience from the family office industry to his role at FourStar. He graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science double major in Accounting and Finance.

Originally from the West suburbs of Chicago, Ryan grew up playing soccer and volleyball. He now resides in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood with his wife and two young children. Outside of working hours, Ryan and his family enjoy the many parks in Chicago; they also enjoy traveling, seeing a jazz show, and spending time with friends.
